: We obtained the nasopharyngeal swabs and environmental samples specifically for this study. Ethical approval was obtained from the ethics committee of Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention. All adult subjects provided informed written consent, and a parent or guardian of any child participant provided informed written consent on their behalf. With regard to environmental sample collection, no specific permissions were required for sampled locations and activities. The field studies did not involve endangered or protected species. Environmental samples were obtained in Niuhu market of Longhua district (114°5’44”E, 22°43’49”N) and Paibang market of Longgang district (114°12’19”E, 22°39’24”N) in Shenzhen. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This article does not contain any studies with animals performed by any of the authors.
