Ethics Approval and Consent to Participate

: The study was conducted in the Bankura district of West Bengal, India. The study aims to explore the familial setups, roles, health status, and expectations of the elderly. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Informed consent was obtained from participants involved in the study. Participation in this study was strictly voluntary, and all subjects were informed about the right to withdraw at any time without explanation. The study confirms that all methods were carried out according to relevant guidelines and regulations in the Declaration of Helsinki.
