Competing Interests
: This study adopts a comparative case study method to contrast and analyze the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Citibank in terms of their strategies, organization, HR system, and product innovation in response to the tremendous impact of Financial Technologies (Fintech). We believe that our study makes a significant practical contribution because Fintech will overturn the traditional banking business model, forcing banks to upgrade and transform. As one of the largest banks in the world, ICBC has special challenges in its home country.
: Further, we believe that this paper will be of interest to the readership of your journal because this question is very interesting and many banks have such questions. There are no directions for such transition. The case study may help these banks.
