: All the experimental procedures involving animals were conformed to the Animal Welfare Act Guide for Use and Care of Laboratory Animals, and were approved by Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Fudan University, China. All animals were housed under specific pathogen-free (SPF) conditions at a stable temperature of 24 °C and fed with chow diet and water at libitum. The male mice were chosen because of the variables (uncertain hormone changes et al.) in female mice. The mice were euthanized by intraperitoneal (i.p.) administration of pentobarbital sodium (50 mg/kg body weight) then the hearts were harvested for further examination.
