: All animal experiments described here complied with the guidelines of the Committee on the Use and Care of Animals of Central South University (Changsha, China) and were approved by the IRB of the Xiangya School of Basic Medical Science at Central South University (2020sydw0685). Human pulmonary tissue was obtained from patients undergoing thoracic surgery at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University (Changsha, China). Patients included both those diagnosed with IPF and those without IPF. All patients signed informed consent for their samples to be used for research, and ethical review committees approved the study (2024030484, Changsha, China).
