: The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Ethics Committee of ASST GOM Niguarda. All enrolled patients were extracted from our prospectively collected database, including Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Patients, registered within our Ethics Committee Milano Area 3 with the following code: 534–102018 (Dec. 2018).

In this registry-based study, patients were informed that their completely anonymized data could be further used for scientific studies. All patients or parents enrolled signed an informed consent to allow data collection for scientific purposes.
