: Information regarding in-hospital MCI/MI preparedness work could represent a security threat regarding gaps and deficiencies. However, the benefits of conducting this study were found more important than the potential risks. Storage of the data are kept in a protected area and confidentiality for the respondents was in accordance with the guidance from Data Protection Officer at Helse-Bergen. The project was reviewed by the Regional Ethical Committee (review authority) (Ref. number 488690) and according to national legislation and general requirements the Committee decided that the study did not require approval as no patient data was involved. Helse-Bergen Data Protection Officer was conferred (referral number 2022/12385-107875/2022) and had no remarks regarding GDPR. The focus was on the MCI/MI organisation at the hospitals.
: Participation in the web-based survey was voluntary. A cover letter describing the aim of the project and confidentiality aspects followed the e-mail with the link to the survey. The confidentiality section in the cover letter was approved by the Helse-Bergen Data Protection Officer as part one of the project regarding prehospital MCI/MI preparedness.
