: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) was established in 2008 and approved by the Oxfordshire Research Ethics Committee in 2008 (reference 18/SC/0372). Approval for linkage with LDN was granted by Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group and Information Governance Steering Group which includes members of local patient and public involvement (PPI) groups.
: This study uses anonymised data from electronic health databases. Paarticipants have the right to opt out of having their data being used for research projects and are informed of this right on registering with GP practices in Lambeth.
: CRIS and LDN were developed with extensive service user involvement and adheres to strict governance frameworks managed by service users. The Maudsley Biomedical Research Center data linkage service user and carer advisory group and Health Watch Lambeth provided feedback and advice to researchers on the project proposal.
