: Kruizinga, Zwart, and Frissen are part of the research lab AI-MAPS (AI in Multi Agency Public Safety scenarios), a project funded by the NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) to research the ethical, legal and societal aspects of AI in the context of public safety (dossiernumber: NWA.1332.20.012). Kruizinga, Zwart, and Frissen are all three part of the Work Package focused on ethical aspects. Kruizinga is a graduate student, promoting under supervisors Zwart and Frissen, at the Erasmus School of Philosophy, while being employed and paid by the Erasmus School of Law. This article is a part of Kruizinga’s graduate research. Zwart is the dean of the Erasmus School of Philosophy. Frissen is a professor of Digital Technology and Social Change at the University of Leiden (Center for eLaw), as well as director of the SIDN fund.
