The FE model of the vehicle was downloaded from the website of NCAC, and the FE model of the cable barrier system was created by using Unigraphics NX and Hypermesh. The simulation results were obtained by utilizing LS-DYNA. The RBF surrogate model and the optimal result were obtained by using Matlab and ISIGHT.
