The repeated layers are combined to a single representative, which layer thickness is used as design variable. The properties provided in Sect. are assigned to the used materials. The analyses described in Sect. should then be implemented and used to set up the optimization problem in Eq. (). Finally, the optimization techniques from Subsect. should be implemented to complement the optimizer.
