Ethics approval and consent to participate: All procedures performed in The ATOM and wearABLe studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. Per 45 CFR 46.104, this analysis is exempt from human subject research regulation. This project involved no direct contact with human or animal subjects. For this post-hoc analysis, we were provided fully de-identified data from the clinical studies ATOM (NCT03512262) and wearABLe (NCT04064411). These studies were conducted in full compliance of human research regulations, and all participants had provided written informed consent prior to participation, including consent for the use of their de-identified data in post-hoc analyses. For this type of study, formal consent is not required.
Human and animal rights: Both clinical studies, ATOM (NCT03512262) and wearABLe (NCT04064411), provided the underlying data for the present analysis. The ATOM and wearABLe clinical studies were approved by local Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or central ethics committees in the respective participating countries.
