: The study was approved by the ethics committees of the Tokyo University of Science and Itabashi Chuo Medical Center.
: The DEMECAL plasma samples were collected by the subjects themselves. The venipuncture serum samples were collected by a physician at the Itabashi Chuo Medical Center. Pooled human plasma FFP-LR (Nisseki frozen plasma) was purchased from the Japan Red Cross Service.
: The DEMECAL® device was provided at no cost from Leisure, Inc., for this study. The authors enrolled with the Leisure, Inc. were involved only in the blood sample collection and calculation of the dilution factor of the plasma.
