The urine used in the method application was residual anonymized clinical specimens obtained from the hospital’s clinical chemistry department after routine diagnostic testing; in accordance with institutional regulations and as approved by the review board of the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda, the use of anonymized residual samples is permitted for method development, optimization, and validation purposes.
