They are also not subjected to any other national or international legal restrictions. The samples were collected within the official sampling campaigns supported by Sysselmannen pa Svalbard Miljovernfond (Norway) and Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland), with no harm to the local environment and in compliance with all the legal regulations and approvals, both from the Norwegian and Polish authorities.
