: Sampling was conducted in compliance to the exemption provided by Article VII, paragraph 6 of CITES to the University of Pisa and the University of Siena (register of scientific institutions codes IT026 and IT007, respectively) and in accordance to permit 27676 of 16 March 2021 granted to MALZ by the Italian Ministry for the Ecological Transition.
