The patient granted permission to include deidentified patient data and images in the research case report study titled “Intravertebral collateral enhancement resembling sclerotic metastatic disease in a case of cervical epidural abscess.” The risks, benefits, and anticipated outcomes of the study, the alternatives to the study and the risks and benefits of those alternatives, and the roles and tasks of the personnel to be involved in the study were discussed with the patient.
