: The study was performed under proper legislation of the Colombian law and following the Code of Ethics of the Animal Behavior Society and the ABS/ASAB Guidelines for the use of animals in research and teaching. The study was noninvasive and involved only observations of animals in their natural habitat. Animals involved in the study were not collected, manipulated, or exposed to any experimental treatment. The methods that we used (song recording, observation) created only a very low level of stress that did not cause any desertion from territories or mortality. Since animals were not captive, no ethical approval was needed from the Ethical Committee of the University.
