: International and national guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed. Our study was entirely observational sampling dolphins in their natural habitats from a land platform, and no ethics approval was required at the time of this study. The unmanned aircraft used to capture images and fly over dolphins is registered at the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (PR-437497387), and maximum care was taken to minimize any disturbance to animals during flights. Fishers were aware of them being filmed for scientific purposes and consented to participate in this study.
