: The study was conducted according to accepted international standards regarding the guidelines for the use of animals in behavioral research (Vitale et al. ), and the legal requirements (Sect. 20 permit) of South Africa, where the study was carried out. Ethical clearance (2022/05/02B) was provided by the Animal Research and Ethics Committee of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. No injuries or mortalities occurred in any study animals; all individuals were successfully released at the exact sites from where they were trapped.
