: The research protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, China. This trial was registered in the China Clinical Trial Registry before patient enrollment [Clinical study of botulinum toxin type A combined with hyaluronic acid in the treatment of mid-cheek groove ( unique identifier: ChiCTR2300071360)]. All procedures conformed to the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.
