Permission was obtained from the relevant institution where the study was conducted (08.05.2025/505708), and approval was obtained from the Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee (Ethics Approval No. 21.05.2025/23). In addition, verbal and written informed consent was obtained from the participants. This study was awarded the “Best Qualitative Study Award” at the 27th National Congress of Internal Medicine organized by the Turkish Society of Internal Medicine Specialists, held on 8–12 October 2025 in Bafra, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
