: In the paper “Early predictors of clinical outcomes of COVID-19 outbreak in Milan, Italy” by Ciceri et al, published online in Clinical Immunology () clinical and chest radiography findings of 410 patients of the COVID-19 institutional clinical-biological cohort (Covid-BioB, NCT04318366) were analyzed in relation to outcomes. In this paper, of which I am a co-author, radiological findings were only a minor part of all the predictors evaluated and only shortly mentioned in the discussion. The present study expanded the sample, despite the stricter exclusion criteria, focusing on the radiological findings.
