: One of the two cohorts (UHH) used for the training of our deep learning models has been previously used to train another deep learning ensemble that distinguishes between avascular necrosis and transient osteoporosis. This work has no overlap with the present paper and has been published at ExternalRef removed. No staging of AVN had been attempted in the previous work and our current work does not attempt any diagnosis but only staging of the patients of the cohort. Therefore the work presented here is completely different without any overlap in aims or results.
