: A total of 167 patients have been previously reported, which were included to evaluate the performance of the Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) version 2018 for subcentimeter HCC and to propose new diagnostic criteria based on portal or transitional phase washout [Eur Radiol 33:2735–2745.]. However, this study developed and validated new criteria based on serum AFP level and imaging features on EOB-MRI for subcentimeter HCC.
