: Most control subjects (15 out of 16) have been previously reported (Stellingwerff et al 2023, Neuroimage). This prior article dealt with the development of the MRI acquisition protocol used in the current manuscript. The current manuscript aims to determine whether quantitative MRI measures reflect differences in neuropathology between two different leukodystrophies, correlate with clinical scores, and provide biomarkers for monitoring. These questions were not addressed in the previous article. None of the patients have been previously reported.
