: Fifty-one of the one-hundred and forty-one included cases have been previously reported in “Wang W, Li S, Zhuang B, Wang H, Ren Y, Xu L. Clinical and cardiac MRI characteristics: prognosis in patients with alcoholic cardiomyopathy. Clin Radiol. 2024 Jun;79(6):e834-e841.” The purposes of the two studies were completely different. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of myocardial fibrosis in the prognosis of ACM patients, while the previous study mainly summarized the CMR characteristics of ACM. This study further explores the prognostic role of CMR in patients with ACM based on previous research. In addition, the previous study only analyzed LGE. In order to further analyze the role of fibrosis, this manuscript further analyzed T1 mapping/ECV. In order to better analyze nativeT1, only patients with one type of MR scanner (Simense) were selected in this manuscript.
