: Blood sample collection performed in this study involving animals was following the ethical standards of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar, 243122, Bareilly, India (Approval for blood collection vide letter no. LRS/BKN/2023-24/25 from Livestock Research Station, RAJUVAS, Bikaner, Rajasthan). Informed consent was obtained from the officer In-charge before sample collection. This study did not involve euthanasia or the sacrifice of animals. Only peripheral blood samples were collected by certified veterinarians using standard, minimally invasive venipuncture procedures. Therefore, no anaesthesia, sedatives or euthanasia methods were used.
