: FW holds a US Patent App. 17/806,697. 2022 titled Urine Color System and Method for Use of the Same, but this patent does not include the lavatory urine color chart (LUC) used in the current study. Further, FW participated in separate projects receiving funding from the National Science Foundation, Arizona Board of Regents, AZ Parks and Trails, the Pac-12, Collegiate Professional Sports Dieticians Association (CPSDA), FEMA, and industry partners, such as Kraft Foods, Dairy Management Inc., Standard Process Inc., and FrieslandCampina. SAK is a lead research aerospace physiologist at Luke Air Force base and a science advisory board member for Hyduro Inc, Zico Rising, and Rockley Photonics. For the past five years, he has served as an occasional scientific consultant for Danone Research, Unilever, and Kraft Heinz.
