: The study used the data collected as a part of the 2011–2012 National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey, which was conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The Census and Statistics Act 1905 provides authorisation to the Australian Bureau of Statistics to conduct the household interview components of the NNPAS. The Australian Bureau of Statistics obtained informed consent from all survey respondents prior to their participation. Furthermore, an ethics exemption was granted by the Deakin University Ethics Committee (reference no. 2022-237) for the use of NNPAS data in the present study.
