: The longitudinal study was conducted by HGC Healthcare Consultants GmbH with financial support from Besins Healthcare Germany GmbH. On behalf of fischerAppelt, relations GmbH, forsa Politik und Sozialforschung GmbH conducted a representative survey (forsa survey) on the topic of "menopause”. As part of the survey, a total of 1000 women between the ages of 45 and 60, who had been selected using a systematic random procedure, were interviewed. The results obtained can only be transferred to the sum total of women between 45 and 60 years of age with the error tolerances possible in all sample surveys (in the present case, ± 3 percentage points).
