On the 13.03.2018, the local Ethic Committee Region of Southern Denmark decided that the study was not subject to notification to the scientific committee system cf. Section 14, subsection 1 of the Act on the ethical treatment of health science research projects. The study was approved on the 28.08.2018 by the Data Protection Agency, Jr no 18/38989.

: Prior to inclusion and surgery, all women were provided with verbal and written information regarding the study protocol and gave their written informed consent, which could be withdrawn at any time.
