: Women who underwent oophorectomy, the most abrupt and invasive form to enter menopause showed the highest rate of EDS compared to women with hysterectomy or natural menopause. Eating behavior and body image need to be part of the clinical assessment and treatment of menopausal women, most important in women with oophorectomy.
