: This study protocol and accompanying documents titled 'Comparison of preoperative PET/CT SUV-Max values with postoperative pathology results in patients diagnosed with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma' were reviewed at the Non-interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee of Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine during the meeting held on July 6, 2023, under protocol number 5. The study was evaluated in accordance with the rationale, objectives, approach, and methods, as well as the voluntary informed consent statement, and it was unanimously determined that the study complies with ethical standards.
