: The Ethical Committee of Tampere University Hospital has waived the requirement for ethical committee evaluation of all retrospective studies that use routinely collected health care data. Moreover, in accordance with Finnish legislation (the Act on the Secondary Use of Health and Social data (552/2019)), no ethical informed written consent was required due to the retrospective register-based study design and because the patients were not contacted.
