: Ethical clearance was secured from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Debretabor University, and consent letters were obtained from each hospital before data collection commenced. Prior to participating, each individual was informed about the study’s objectives, significance, and confidentiality measures. Participants were made aware that they would not receive any benefits from their involvement in the study and that there would be no repercussions if they chose not to participate or decided to withdraw. Ultimately, they were asked for their willingness to participate, and their signed consent was collected. Patients with significant suicidal concerns were duly notified to the relevant health professional.
