The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Tandil Eye Clinic (Buenos Aires, Argentina), where all procedures were performed. In addition, the protocol was reviewed by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires (Tandil). Given the retrospective and observational design of the study, no additional external ethical approval was deemed necessary.All patients included in this study gave their consent, agreeing that their data could be used for academic and educational purposes, while maintaining the confidentiality of their identity and complying with national regulations (Argentine Personal Data Protection Law; Law 25,326).
