: Worker’s compensation insurance is part of the statutory social security in Finland. The insurance is based on the Workers’ Compensation Act. AK is a member of the Employment Accidents Compensation Board, appointed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. All authors are employed at LocalTapiola General, a legal requirement to have access to insurance-based material.
: The database material was analysed without personal data, preventing any identification of individuals. Data were protected in line with European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As we did not contact the cases, neither informed consent nor approval was required from the ethics committee.
