Declarations
:
: This population-based study is the first to highlight the complexity of temperature-related emergency room visits (ERVs) risks among employees of diverse occupational settings in Taiwan. The risk of extreme temperature varied between different occupational groups and the extent of associations varied by gender and age-groups. This epidemiological evidence is filling a crucial knowledge gap and can help refine existing regulations and information platforms to make informed decisions and implement appropriate measures to protect vulnerable occupational groups.
