: The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health (ALSWH) received ethical approval from the Human Research Ethics Committees at both the University of Queensland and the University of Newcastle. Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to the completion of each survey. Ethical approval for the 1989-95 cohort was granted by the University of Newcastle (H-2012-0256) and the University of Queensland (2012/HE000950). For the 1973-78 cohort, ethical approval was granted by the University of Newcastle (H-076-0795) and the University of Queensland (2004/HE000224).
