: This study has been performed in accordance with the ethical standards laid down in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments. The study was performed following the current publication guideline of the TraumaRegister DGU® and is registered as TR-DGU Project ID TR-DGU Project ID 2022–013. According to the guidelines of the responsible state medical association, ethical approval was not required, since the study was a retrospective analysis based on anonymous aggregated routine data.
