: This study took place in the Department of Surgery, JIPMER, Pondicherry, India from December 2022 to April 2024. The study was approved by the Departmental Postgraduate Research Monitoring Committee (PGRMC) and Institute Ethics Committee (IEC) of JIPMER. All participants had given written informed consent before proceeding with the study. The participants were made aware that they could withdraw at their will at any point during the study. The trial was registered in Clinical trials registry of India (CTRI No. 2022/11/047615).
