: In accordance with the Declaration of Scientific Research Ethics Committee, Faculty of Nursing, Benha University, Egypt, the approval was obtained. The verbal and written consents were obtained from nurses’ and neonate’s parents before data collection while ensuring complete privacy and total confidentiality. A complete description of the purpose and nature of the study was approached to nurses and neonate’s parents. All nurses and neonate’s parents informed that they have the right to withdraw at any time from the study without explanation of their rationale, and their data is secured. Additionally, the researcher had acceptance and permission from Dr. Vinod Bhutani , the corresponding author of the original BIND scoring to use the scale in the current study.
