: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Approval was granted by the regional ethical review board in Uppsala, Sweden (registration number 2023–06406-01).

: This retrospective study originated as a quality improvement project approved at the Department of Paediatrics; all data in the study were extracted from the hospital’s computer system and into an Excel file where names and social security numbers were erased to ensure the patient’s anonymity. After an ethical approval (registration number 2023–06406-01) from the Swedish Ethical Review Authority, the data were used in this study.
