: No experimental procedures were carried out in this study. Samples for investigations were collected from three dogs in the Veterinary Hospital of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Productions of Naples University Federico II. Samples were obtained during clinical visits carried out periodically for affected animals as routine follow-up procedures. They were harvested on permission of the dogs’ owners who signed an informed consent accepting the use of materials for possible publication.
