Field sampling and specimen collection off the Canary Islands and genetic access to <i>Pseudocharopinus pillaii</i> off the Canary Islands, compliant with the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources, were done following the national legislation under administrative authorizations from the Spanish Ministry for the Ecologic Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
