: The mice for T. gondii artificial infection were provided by the Laboratory Animal Center of Huazhong Agricultural University. All the mice were sacrificed after the experiment. Our study was authorized by the animal ethical committee from Huazhong Agricultural University in China (permit no. HZAUMO-2025–0123). Cats used for experimental purposes were purchased from a cat breeding institution in Hubei Province of China. All cat serum samples were collected from the Animal Hospital of Huazhong Agricultural University.
