: The specimens were collected under the license provided by Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT) (permit SPARN/DGVS/04102/22). The euthanasia of bat specimens was carried out under the guidelines of Sikes and Animal Care and Use Committee of the American Society of Mammalogists ( ).
