: Ethical approval for the collection of human samples was obtained from the Çukurova University Ethics Committee (approval number:136 − 49/01.09.2023). All participants, including the parents of child participants, were informed in detail about the purpose and methods of the study, and written informed consent was obtained prior to sample collection. For animals, ethical approval was not required for this study in accordance with the institutional guidelines of the Local Animal Experiments Ethics Committee (HADYEK), as only non-invasive fecal sampling was conducted without any experimental procedures on animals. Permission for sample collection was obtained from the animal owners.
