: All procedures involving fish were carried out in accordance with applicable institutional and national guidelines. No approval of a research ethics committee was required for this study because sampling was conducted as part of authorized fisheries research activities of the Institute for Fisheries, Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL). Fish were euthanized in accordance with the German Animal Welfare Act (TierSchG).
